Words to Comfort or Encourage

THE GOD OF PEACE will soon crush satan UNDER YOUR FEET. (Romans 16:20

“As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Joshua 1:5)

The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you. (Psalm 9:9)

LORD, you have assigned me my portion and my cup; you have made my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. I will praise the LORD, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. (Psalm 16:5-8)

I love you, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. (Psalm 18:1-2)

For this God is our God for ever and ever; He will be our guide even to the end. (Psalm 48:14)

“Because he loves Me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges My name. He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.” (Psalm 91:14-15)

HE gives strength to the weary, and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. (Isaiah 40:29-31)

“I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, ‘You are MY servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. So do not fear, for I AM with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God.” (Isaiah 41:9-10)

“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; YOU ARE MINE. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior...DO NOT BE AFRAID, FOR I AM WITH YOU.” (Isaiah 43:1-5)

“Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, all you who remain in the house of Israel, you whom I have upheld since you were conceived, and have carried since your birth. Even to your old age and gray hairs I am He, I am He who will sustain you. I will sustain you and I will rescue you.” (Isaiah 46:3-4)

“Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matt. 28:20)

He (Jesus) replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from Heaven. I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.” (Luke 10:18-19)

"My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand." (John 10:27-30)

“Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live.” (John 14:19)

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:28-30)

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. (1 Corinth. 10:13)

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, (the evil spirits) because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. (1 John 4:4)
