...I saw the LORD seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him were seraphs, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. And they were calling to one another: “Holy, Holy, Holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.” (Isaiah 6: 1-3)

I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw…someone “like a son of man,” dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. In his right hand he held seven stars, and out of his mouth came a sharp double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance. (Revelation 1:12-16)

For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God. (Deut. 4:24)

The LORD your God did to the Jordan just what he had done to the Red Sea when he dried it up before us until we had crossed over. He did this so that all the people of the earth might know that the hand of the LORD is powerful and so that you might always FEAR the LORD your God. (Joshua 4 : 23-24)

Now FEAR the LORD and serve him with all faithfulness. (Joshua 24 : 14)

The God of Israel spoke, the Rock of Israel said to me: “When one rules over men in righteousness, when he rules in the FEAR of God, he is like the light of morning at sunrise on a cloudless morning, like the brightness after rain that brings the grass from the earth.” (2 Sam. 23 : 3-4)

....then hear from heaven, your dwelling place, and do whatever the foreigner asks of you, so that all the peoples of the earth may know your name and FEAR YOU...(1 Kings 8 : 43)

The FEAR of the LORD - that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding. (Job 28 : 28)

Serve the LORD with FEAR and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry and you be destroyed in your way, for His wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in Him. (Psalm 2 : 11-12)

LORD, who may dwell in your sanctuary?…He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous, who despises a vile man but honors those who FEAR the LORD (Psalm 15 : 1-4)

The FEAR of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. (Psalm 19 : 9)

You who FEAR the LORD, praise him…before those who FEAR you will I fulfill my vows. (Psalm 22 : 23, 25)

The LORD confides in those who FEAR him; he makes his covenant known to them. (Psalm 25 : 14)

How great is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who FEAR you…(Psalm 31 : 19)

Let all the earth FEAR the LORD; let all the people of the world revere him…but the eyes of the LORD are on those who FEAR him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive... (Psalm 33 :8, 18-19)

The angel of the LORD encamps around those who FEAR him, and he delivers them… FEAR the LORD, you his saints, for those who FEAR him lack nothing. (Psalm 34 :7, 9)

But to the wicked, God says: “What right do you have to recite My laws or take My covenant on your lips? You hate My instruction and cast My words behind you. When you see a thief, you join with him; you throw in your lot with adulterers. You use your mouth for evil and harness your tongue to deceit. You speak continually against your brother and slander your own mother's son. These things you have done and I kept silent; you thought I was altogether like you. But I will rebuke you and accuse you TO YOUR FACE. Consider this, you who forget God, OR I WILL TEAR YOU TO PIECES, WITH NONE TO RESCUE...” (Psalm 50 : 16-22)

He ransoms me unharmed from the battle waged against me, even though many oppose me. God, who is enthroned forever, will hear them and afflict them - men who never change their ways and have no FEAR of God. (Psalm 55 : 18-19)

...For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who FEAR him...as a Father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who FEAR him...But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD’S love is with those who FEAR him...(Psalm 103 : 11, 13, 17)

...the LORD is gracious and compassionate. He provides food for those who FEAR Him....The FEAR of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise. (Psalm 111 : 2, 10)

Praise the LORD. Blessed is the man who FEARS the LORD, who finds great delight in his commands. (Psalm 112 : 1)

You who FEAR him, trust in the LORD....he will bless those who FEAR the LORD - small and great alike...(Psalm 115 : 11, 13)

Fulfill your promise to your servant, so that YOU MAY BE FEARED....I am a friend to all who FEAR YOU...may those who FEAR YOU rejoice when they see me...may those who FEAR YOU turn to me...my flesh TREMBLES IN FEAR OF YOU... (Psalm 119 : 38, 63, 74, 79, 120)

The FEAR of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline. (Proverbs 1 : 7)

Since they hated knowledge and did not choose to FEAR THE LORD, since they would not accept my advice and spurned my rebuke, they will eat the fruit of their ways....(Proverbs 1 : 29, 30)

If you call out for insight...cry aloud for understanding...look for it....search for it...then you will understand the FEAR OF THE LORD and find the knowledge of God. (Proverbs 2 : 3 - 5)

Do not be wise in your own eyes; FEAR THE LORD AND SHUN EVIL. (Proverbs 3 : 7)

To FEAR the LORD is to HATE EVIL...(Proverbs 8 : 13)

The FEAR of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. (Proverbs 9 : 10)

FEAR God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. (Eccles. 12 : 13)

The LORD Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy, He is the one you are to FEAR, He is the one you are to dread, and He will be a sanctuary... (Isaiah 8 : 13, 14)

“Wail, for the day of the LORD is near; it will come like destruction from the Almighty. Because of this, all hands will go limp, every man's heart will melt. Terror will seize them, pain and anguish will grip them; they will writhe like a woman in labor. They will look aghast at each other, their faces aflame. See, the day of the LORD is coming - a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger - to make the land desolate and destroy the sinners within it. The stars of heaven and their constellations will not show their light. The rising sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light. I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless. I will make man scarcer than pure gold, more rare than the gold of Ophir. Therefore I will make the heavens tremble; and the earth will shake from its place at the wrath of the LORD Almighty in the day of his burning anger.” (Isaiah 13 : 6-13)

See, the LORD is going to lay waste the earth and devastate it, He will ruin its face and scatter its inhabitants.....The earth will be completely laid waste and totally plundered. The LORD has spoken this word.....a curse consumes the earth, its people must bear their guilt. Therefore the earth's inhabitants are burned up, and very few are left.....The earth is broken up.....split asunder.....thoroughly shaken.....it falls - never to rise again.....(See Isaiah 24)

“This is the one I esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirit, and TREMBLES at My word.” (Isaiah 66 : 2)

“Should you not FEAR Me?” declares the LORD. “Should you NOT tremble in My presence? I made the sand a boundary for the sea, an everlasting barrier it cannot cross. The waves may roll, but they cannot prevail; they may roar, but they cannot cross it. But these people have stubborn and rebellious hearts; they have turned aside, and gone away. They do not say to themselves, ‘Let us FEAR the LORD our God...’” (Jeremiah 5 : 22-23)

“Now your impurity is lewdness. Because I tried to cleanse you but you would not be cleansed from your impurity, you will not be clean again until my wrath against you has subsided. I the LORD have spoken. The time has come for Me to act. I will not hold back; I will not have pity, nor will I relent. You will be judged according to your conduct and your actions, declares the Sovereign LORD.” (Ezekiel 24 : 13)

“I will sweep away everything from the face of the earth,” declares the LORD. “I will sweep away both men and animals; I will sweep away the birds of the air and the fish of the sea. The wicked will have only heaps of rubble when I cut off man from the face of the earth.” declares the LORD.....The great day of the LORD is near - near and coming quickly.....In the fire of His jealousy the whole world will be consumed, for He will make a sudden end of all who live on the earth. (Zephan. 1 : 2-3; 14, 18)

“Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, BE AFRAID of the One who can destroy both body and soul in hell.” (Matt.11 : 28)

His mercy extends to those WHO FEAR HIM...(Luke 1 : 50)

“I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that can do no more. But I will show you whom you SHOULD FEAR: FEAR him who, AFTER the killing of the body, has power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, FEAR Him.” (Luke 12 : 4-5)

For we must all appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done in the body, whether good or bad. (2 Corinth. 5 : 10)

For we know Him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” and again, “The LORD will judge His people.” IT IS A DREADFUL THING TO FALL INTO THE HANDS OF THE LIVING GOD. (Hebrews 10 : 30-31)

...“I am He who searches HEARTS AND MINDS, and I WILL repay each of you according to his deeds.” (Revelation 2:23)

He said in a loud voice, “FEAR God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water... (Revelation 14 : 7)

Great and marvelous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of the ages. Who will not FEAR you, O Lord, and bring glory to your name? (Revelation 15 : 3-4)

Then a voice came from the throne, saying, “Praise our God, all you his servants, you who FEAR him, both small and great!” (Revelation 19: 5 )
