Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the Kingdom of God unless he is born again; no one can enter the Kingdom of God unless he is born of water, and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit GIVES BIRTH to spirit." (John 3: 3, 5)
..."unless I wash you, you have NO part with ME".....I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through ME". (John 13 : 8, 14 : 6)
Jesus taught us that HE would pay our price for sin, that HE MUST be sacrificed for us, and that HE would rise on the 3rd day...
"I tell you the truth, I am the Gate for the sheep....I am the GATE, whoever enters THROUGH ME will be saved....I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down his life for the sheep......I am the Good Shepherd; I know MY sheep, and MY sheep know ME.....I have other sheep that are not of THIS pen. I must bring them, also. They too will listen to MY voice, and there shall be one flock and one Shepherd. The reason that my Father loves me is that I lay down my life - only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and authority to take it up again. This command I recieved from my Father." (John 10 : 7-18)
"We are going up to Jerusalem," HE said, "and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death and will hand him over to the Gentiles who will mock him, and spit on him, and flog him and kill him. Three days later HE WILL RISE." (Mark 10 : 33)
In those days, when kings traveled from place to place on buisness, it was customary to know their buisness by how they rode. If you saw a king on a stallion, you had better grab your shield! However, if the King rode in on a mule, he was coming in peace...Jesus chose the animal He KNEW they could understand at a glance...His, statement was CLEAR to them....."I AM the King, and I am coming in peace..."
In HIM, we have redemption through HIS blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace. (Ephesians 1 : 7)
But God, demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for US. (Romans 5 : 8)
For God SO LOVED the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have ETERNAL LIFE. (John 3 : 16)
Christ died for sins, once for ALL, the Righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. ( 1 Peter 3 : 18)
