Live in Peace / Be at Peace

THE GOD OF PEACE will soon crush satan UNDER YOUR FEET. (Romans 16:20)

Be devoted to one another in brotherly love...bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse...live in harmony with one another...if it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live AT PEACE WITH EVERYONE. (Romans 12:10, 14, 16, 18)

Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellow man has fulfilled the law. The commandments, “Do not commit adultery,” “Do not murder,” “Do not steal,” “Do not covet,” and whatever other commandment there may be, are all summed up in this one rule: “LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.” Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. (Romans 13:8-10)

You, then, why do you judge your brother? Or why do you look down on your brother? For we will all stand before God's judgment seat...Therefore, let us stop passing judgment on one another...For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and approved by men. Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification. (Romans 14:10, 13, 17-19)

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of UNITY among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with ONE HEART AND MOUTH you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Accept one another then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God...May the God of hope fill you with all JOY AND PEACE as you trust in Him... (Romans 15:5-7, 13)

I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought. (1 Corin. 1:10)

Nobody should seek his own good, but the good of others. (1 Corin. 10:24)

My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and UNITED IN LOVE, so that they may have the FULL RICHES of complete understanding... (Colos. 2:2)

Therefore, as God's Chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts... (Colos. 3:12-15)

Live in peace with each other. (1 Thess. 5:13)

Now may the Lord of Peace Himself give you peace at all times and in every way. (2 Thess 3:16)

I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone - for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. (1 Tim 1-2)

Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen. (2 Tim. 2:14)

Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and PEACE, along with those who call on the Lord out of a PURE HEART. Don't have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. And the Lord's servant MUST NOT quarrel; instead he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Those who oppose him he must GENTLY instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance... (2 Tim 2:22-25)

Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all men. (Titus 3:1-2)

Make EVERY EFFORT to LIVE IN PEACE with ALL men and to be holy... (Hebrews 12:14)

Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, LOVE ONE ANOTHER DEEPLY, FROM THE HEART. (1 Peter 1:22)

Finally, ALL OF YOU, live IN HARMONY with one another, be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble.....He must turn from evil and do good; he MUST SEEK PEACE and pursue it. (1 Peter 3:8, 11)
